Marlie spends her time split between two worlds - traditional and digital art. While her style stays the same, the time it takes to create pieces varies majorly for traditional pieces. A single work can take hours to days when Marlie is creating with oil pastels. She creates her pieces in steps: first an acrylic paint base, followed by oil pastels, then finished with colored pencils and more acrylic paint. Marlie then seals each creation with a hardener to protect it.
Colorful and funny, Marlie's digital designs are far less serious! She uses just an iPad and Apple Pencil to create these works. Marlie finds her inspiration from internet culture and from personal experience.
